The HR team at Portland Charity are based at the main campus in Harlow Wood, Mansfield and provides comprehensive and efficient HR support and advice to approximately 430 managers and staff.
Working in a small team within a busy office environment the role of the HR Assistant will involve coordinating and supporting training activity and processes across the organisation, updating records and supporting the production of training reports. Providing administration support, handling incoming enquiries via telephone email and in-person.
You must have experience in an administration role and the ability to be structured and organised whilst maintaining a flexible approach at all times. You should have a working experience of Microsoft Office 365, have experience producing accurate and complex employment documents and be able to work as part of a small team or on your own initiative.
This role requires someone with strong administration, organisational and excellent interpersonal skills as the role involves a varied workload with a high level of interaction with people from across Portland Charity alongside external customers.
A CIPD Level 3 qualification or currently working towards is desirable, experience in a HR role is not essential but excellent organisational and communication skills will be integral to the role.
