Portland Charity are looking for a Chef to work with our professional on-site catering team to prepare, cook and serve high quality meals to our learners, citizens, staff and visitors. We are a SEN college and registered care home providing care and education to people with a wide range of disabilities.

 

We are looking for someone who is able to work as part of a large team in a busy kitchen environment with experience in a fresh food preparation catering environment. As well as preparing daily meals for our learners our catering team offers services for onsite functions including weddings throughout the year.

Working Hours


As a Chef at Portland Charity the typical working hours are 38 hours per week with 1 in 4 weekends. The typical shift begins at either 7:00am or 10:00am and ends at either 3:00pm or 6:00pm. We support flexible working at Portland Charity and would be happy to discuss part time working with you at your interview.

There is an opportunity for overtime to support our functions and weddings throughout the year.
