The Role

The College has developed an exciting new study programme based in Nottingham city centre to provide a new education pathway towards employment. We are looking for an experienced Curriculum Manager with an understanding of employer needs to implement this exciting new programme.

 

As a Curriculum Manager you will lead in establishing a new cohort of learners at our Nottingham city centre hub site whilst delivering an employment focused, study programme. The hub site will work independently but will have access to support and facilities at the main College campus in Mansfield.

 

You will take a key focus on employer engagement and partnership working whilst assisting with supported Internships.

 

You will have strong knowledge and understanding of funding streams including Education Skills Funding Agency, Adult Education Budget and Access to Work

 

Experience and knowledge of a curriculum involving E-sport, E-gaming, Retail, Land-Based and Hospitality and Catering would be desirable.


Experience of employer engagement through supporting Apprenticeships programmes.

 

You will hold a relevant teaching qualification or equivalent or have a willingness to work towards this within an agreed timeframe.

Qualifications needed


You will hold a relevant degree or post graduate qualification as well as a level 2 qualification in maths, English and ICT.


You will hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this in an agreed timescale.


Other valuable qualifications include, educational management qualification at level 3 or above, TAQA level 3 or equivalent, TAQA level 4 or equivalent, however these are not essential requirements of the role.


We encourage applicants to apply who may not have a degree but may hold technical or vocationally relevant qualifications at L3 and L4.

 

Working Hours


Your working week for this role would be 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday.
